Graduation Day for Isaac

We sure didn't think we'd see our little guy in a cap and gown for at least 13 years... but we all enjoyed watching him during his special Preschool graduation. So many family members were able to support him on his big day. Isaac was excited for this step into becoming a "Big Kid".

This group of boys was always quite the handful. I'm sure their teachers are pretty relieved the school year is over, much in part because of them. Isaac's best buddies in preschool: Damon, Jacob, & Judson. They were his first friends and the ones he never stopped talking about.

One funny moment I cannot forget to share: while videotaping the ceremony I was able to get a close up shot of our sweet little Isaac digging for green & yellow gold and then eating it... oh I about died! That's something I'm sure he won't be doing on his High School graduation day... let's hope not. After graduation we said farewell to classmates while eating cookies and other desserts in the gym. Then the family joined us back at our place for a grilled luncheon. Isaac recieved some special "preschool" presents from Grandma, Grandpa, and Trina. For more pictures check out the Mapley Family Website under "Norton's".

Oh Tenille, Isaac is so big, so is Bella for that matter. I am so excited for baby #3. We are pregnant with #1. I am 9 weeks and 3 days. May the lord bless you and your family. Good luck with everything.

I was so excited to check your blog this morning and find new pictures. I guess you got that camera for Mother's Day!!! Yeah!! I can't believe Isaac starts Kindergarten next year. Crazy!!

Actually Tonia... I'm just an idiot. What I thought happened, didn't happen again... I took my memory card to Walmart just for the heck of it to try it out and guess what? It worked!I was floored so when I got home I checked it on the camera... still said ERR (error). So I changed all the batteries (like 6 different ones) and it worked! Now Doug seems to think I no longer need a new camera... bummer. I'm still trying to convince him though... we'll see.

Isaac is so cute in his cap and gown. I didn't realize he was in preschool. Where was his preschool class held? How often did he go? I'm glad to hear about your camera too - what a relief to have all of your pictures still saved.

Isaac went to St Paul's Preschool. He loved it. He only went 3 days a week for a few hours but every day there wasn't school he would beg to go. He's even more excited now to head off to elementary.
